Edible Baby Shower Favors

If you are looking for a unique edible baby shower favor idea check out these adorable pacifier cookies. You can find the recipe at designergirl007.

They are really easy and inexpensive to make. All you need is fudge covered Oreo cookies, lifesavers, jelly beans, coating chocolate (a Hershey's bar will work), and ribbon (optional). You can also tie themed baby shower favor tags to the pacifiers with the ribbon.

Simply cute! Can't wait for my next baby shower to make these.

Easy Baby Shower Decoration Idea

These tissue paper flowers are a great baby shower decoration that is easy and economical to make. They can be used in several ways to decorate your tables, as a centerpiece, and add a bit of color to your party.

Here's the supplies you will need:

  • Tissue paper - multiple colors and/or prints

  • Thin ribbon, pipe cleaners, or floral wire

  • Scissors

You can make them in multiple sizes, it all depends on the size of the tissue paper. Also, the fullness of the flowers depends on how many sheets of paper you use.

  1. Cut the tissue paper to desired size. I cut the paper to 10"x15" for the mid-sized flowers, and cut that size in half for the smaller ones.

  2. Layer 5 - 7 sheets of tissue paper, depending on how full you want the flower to look. For the large flowers, use 8 - 10 sheets. You can alternate the color layers or if you want a specific color on the outside, like the purple and green ones, put that color on the bottom of the stack.

  3. With the stack of tissue paper facing lengthwise, make 1" folds, like if you were folding into a fan.

  4. Tie in the middle with a length of ribbon (if you are going to hang them, make sure to leave enough length). You can also secure with pipe cleaners or floral wire. You could then place them in a vase or decorative themed containers, like bouquets.

  5. Cut the edges into points. Begin to separate the layers of tissue one at a time, gently pulling toward the middle. If you have it layered with a specific color on the outside layer, you would work out toward that layer.

The flowers can be hung from the ceiling in varying lengths, placed in decorated glass bowls, or in a vase to create a bouquet. You could also use tissue paper that has a printed design to work into your baby shower theme.

Spring or Summer baby shower, check out these unique ideas from Enchanted Events & Design.

This was actually a bumblebee birthday party but can easily be used for a baby shower theme. I just love the bumblebee cake pops and the cookie pops! You can find the cake pops tutorial on their site.

The use of neutral colors makes this a great theme for either a baby boy or girl. The favors and decorations used are perfectly matched and simple to recreate.

Spring Themed Baby Shower Ideas

Spring is finally here! This is such a beautiful time of year. Flowers blooming, baby animals being born, and perfect weather! And the perfect time to start planning your Spring baby shower for the that new bundle of joy you are expecting.

Some great Spring baby shower theme ideas include bunnies, chicks, baby ducklings, honey bees, and bright flowers. No one can resist adorable baby animals!

Dress up your tables with these cute party favors that can also make a great thank you gift for your baby shower guests.

These adorable baby animals seed packets serve double duty. They are available with many baby animal design choices and you will be giving your guests a living memory of your baby shower with the beautiful wildflowers they will grow.

If your guests are not into gardening, the baby animal designs are also available on purse-sized tissue packs, travel candle tins, gum boxes, lemonade mix, and favor boxes, just to name a few.

Use these adorable favors for a "Cute as Can Bee" baby shower.

These beehive candles and yummy jars of clover honey will be a big hit with your guests! Serve some delicious scones and iced tea as part of your menu.

My favorite are these beautiful Gerbera Daisy favor boxes. The brightly colored daisies is a perfect addition to a floral themed shower. Fill them with colorful jelly beans or pastel M&M's for a spectacular little gift for your guests.

Add our Spring Blooms diaper cake for a perfect table centerpiece!

No matter which Spring theme you use, decorate with pastel colors and bright flowers. Since the weather is so beautiful at this time of year, consider having the shower outside. Serve light foods, such as seasonal salads, finger sandwiches, and fruits.
